Continue ShoppingTo keep your copper sink in excellent condition, clean it regularly with mild, pH-neutral soap and water. Avoid harsh cleaners. After each use—especially in hard water areas—wipe the sink dry to prevent spots and buildup. For added protection and shine, you can occasionally apply a product like Renaissance Wax to help maintain luster and improve water runoff.
Do not use chlorine, concentrated vinegar, abrasive cleaners, or copper cleaners. Avoid leaving acidic substances (such as lemons, citrus fruits, pineapple, ketchup, or wine) on the surface, as they can affect the patina. Always rinse thoroughly after contact. If the patina is temporarily removed, don’t worry—it will naturally return within days or a few weeks. During this time, avoid waxing the sink.
For bathroom sinks, rinse away toothpaste and liquid soaps promptly, as some contain strong chemicals. In kitchen sinks, never place extremely hot pots or pans directly on the surface or leave them sitting overnight, as this may damage the finish. Fortunately, copper naturally regenerates its patina over time with normal use.
The “living” finish is designed to develop over time, creating a rich, deep character unique to your sink. Minor scratches naturally blend and heal into the surface, allowing the copper to grow even more beautiful with age.
Brushed Nickel Finish Care
Our Brushed Nickel finish is created by plating nickel over copper and hand-brushing the surface. It resists fingerprints and is easy to maintain. Clean with mild soap (PH neutral) and warm water only. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners to protect the finish.
Enjoy the lasting beauty and craftsmanship of your sink.
